Calderwood Farm, Albion Park NSW is the new home for the upcoming southern hemisphere breeding season for the perfectly bred "Perfect Union" who stood only his third season in Canada this year (2010).

Perfect Union is by The Panderosa out of one of the most respected broodmares of current times in Grand Lady (Matts Scooter). He took a lifetime mark of 1.49 flat with stakes in excess of $746,000.

Dr Andrew Daniels, who is the studmaster in charge of Calderwood Farm describes the horse as "A true Blueblood" with fantastic bloodlines, style, size and good looks to match.

The stunning bay horse was foaled in 2002 and stands at 16hh, raced with minimal gear and no knee boots, making him the perfect option for stallion duties.

Grand Lady, A Matts Scooter mare, is arguably one of the great broodmares. As well as Perfect Union who took a life time mark of 1.49 flat, she is the dam of the O'Brien Award Winner & Nova Award Winner, GLOWING REPORT, 1.49.2 $2,227,773. In addition to this she is the Grand Dam of the amazing WELL SAID, 1.47.3 $2,690,820 who is standing his first season at Hanover Shoe Farms, where his book is full and closed at US $15,000.

Perfect Union, at 2 was the winner of the Grand Circuit BLUEGRASS STAKES, third in the BREEDERS CROWN Elimination and the METRO PACE elimination & FINAL.

At 3, this stunning bay horse, was the winner of the Grand Circuit BLUEGRASS STAKES IN 1.50.4 and an elimination of the MEADOWLANDS PACE in 1.49 flat. He also placed in the MESSENGER FINAL, A NORTH AMERICA CUP elimination, the OLIVER WENDELL HOLMES pacing his own mile in 1.49.2 and the PROGRESS PACE FINAL.

Dr Daniels also says the bloodlines give breeders in NSW another option.
